I sometimes forget just how far I’ve come.

I have been at this weight loss thing for a long while. Since gaining over 100 pounds during my 3rd pregnancy, staying consistent has been a challenge.

But, I’ve learned that this journey sometimes requires a bit of support, some extra help.

Some people hire personal trainers or chefs but those things come naturally to me. What doesn’t? Overeating. I’ll eat past full, I’ll eat when I’m happy, i’ll eat when sad, i’ll eat when bored, hopeful, excited, any emotion prompts me to have a bite or two to eat.

I wasted over a year sitting in my shit, feeling sorry for the twenty pounds I gained back.
Feeling defeated because I had to re-start everything.
And I sat there for a while. A long while.
Made excuses.
I’m done. That shit is a merry go round and I want off.

Can’t get the time back.
But I can make use of today and commit to small changes every single day.

Finally feeling like I got my stride back.
Mentally-has been hard. Depression sucks couple that with anxiety, debilitating and then health issues…. Just bury me. You know? But I am here. Breathing, in the flesh and I ain’t don’t with me yet. 💕#weightlossdiary
